By accessing or using DocSeek , operated by Synthetic Data API ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

DocSeek , a product of Synthetic Data API, is an AI-powered knowledge management platform that helps teams organize, search, and access their documentation. Our Service includes:

• Document indexing and AI-powered search capabilities
• Integration with third-party services (Telegram, Google Docs, etc.)
• Telegram bot for team member access
• Team management and access control features

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

You must create an account to use our Service. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Be responsible for all activities under your account

3.2 Account Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of your organization.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use our Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Use the Service to spam or send unsolicited communications
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Resell or redistribute the Service without permission
• Use the Service in a way that could damage our reputation

5. User Content

5.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload or connect to our Service. By using our Service, you grant us a license to:

• Store, process, and display your content
• Send your content excerpts to AI providers (Anthropic Claude) to generate search answers
• Make your content accessible to authorized team members
• Back up your content for disaster recovery

We do not use your content to train AI models. Your content is only processed by AI to respond to your team's queries.

5.2 Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for your content and must ensure you have all necessary rights and permissions to index it through our Service. We are not responsible for the accuracy, legality, or appropriateness of your content.

6. Billing and Payments

6.1 Subscription Plans

Our Service is provided on a per-seat subscription basis. You agree to pay all fees associated with your chosen plan based on the number of active team members in your organization.

6.2 Payment Terms

• Fees are billed in advance on a monthly basis per seat
• All payments are processed securely by Stripe
• Plan upgrades, downgrades, and seat changes are prorated immediately
• We may change pricing with 30 days notice
• Failure to pay may result in service suspension

6.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you will retain access until then. No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing period.

6.4 Refund Policy

If you are not satisfied with our Service, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase. Refunds are processed by Stripe and will be returned to your original payment method. After the 14-day refund window, no refunds will be issued.

6.5 Free Trials

Certain plans may include a free trial period (e.g., 5 days for the Starter plan). A valid payment method is required to start a trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan and you will be charged.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all software, designs, text, graphics, and other content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works without our permission.

8. AI-Powered Features

8.1 AI Disclaimer

Our Service uses artificial intelligence (Anthropic Claude) to generate answers to your search queries. AI-generated responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. You should independently verify any information before relying on it.

8.2 No Professional Advice

AI-generated answers do not constitute professional, legal, medical, financial, or any other form of expert advice. DocSeek is not responsible for any decisions or actions taken based on AI-generated content.

8.3 Query Logging

All search queries and AI responses are logged for analytics, service improvement, and usage tracking. See our Privacy Policy for details.

9. Third-Party Integrations

Our Service integrates with third-party platforms including Telegram, Google (Drive, Docs), and Notion. By connecting these integrations:

• You represent that you have the authority to grant DocSeek access to the connected data sources
• You agree to comply with the terms of service of each third-party platform
• You acknowledge that DocSeek is not responsible for outages, data loss, or changes to third-party services
• You understand that disconnecting an integration will stop further indexing but previously indexed content may remain until manually removed

10. Telegram Bot

Our Telegram bot allows authorized team members to query your organization's knowledge base. By using the bot:

• Team members must be authorized via invite codes generated by the organization owner
• The bot only responds to authenticated users linked to an active organization
• All queries through the bot are subject to the same logging and AI processing as dashboard queries
• Organization owners are responsible for managing team member access and revoking access when appropriate

11. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our data practices.

12. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may:

• Perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice
• Suspend service for urgent technical issues
• Modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice
• Limit usage to prevent abuse or ensure fair access

13. Termination

10.1 Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings. You will remain responsible for any fees incurred before termination.

10.2 Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Fail to pay required fees
• Use the Service in a harmful manner
• Provide false information

14. Disclaimers and Limitations

14.1 Service “As Is”

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to the accuracy of AI-generated content. We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free or meet your specific requirements.

14.2 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability shall not exceed the amounts you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including damages arising from reliance on AI-generated content.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

16. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

17. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiations by contacting us at info@docseek.online. If the dispute cannot be resolved within 30 days, either party may pursue resolution through the courts of Ukraine.

18. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ukraine, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
